We thank you for this travel experience. As first-time visitors to Cambodia and frequent travelers around Southeast Asia, we were very impressed by the quality of this journey. The staff were very friendly, the driving was very secure despite the Cambodian traffic, and we felt safe throughout the entire trip. Everything was well-organized. On behalf of the whole family, we would like to express our sincere gratitude.
We left on time and arrived early. It was a perfect trip — 5 stars.
The bus departed late, and a scheduled 30-minute stop extended to 45 minutes, resulting in an arrival that was 40 minutes behind schedule.
The announcements were far too long—over 7 minutes before departure. They were almost impossible to understand for non-native English speakers.
Safe trip, but several seats dropped straight back without control, which seemed to be a common issue. One passenger had to be reseated. The man in front of me reclined so close that he was an inch from my face, though he eventually raised his seat after my knees bumped it a few times. Otherwise, it was a pleasant, fast trip with excellent drivers and cheerful staff. A little maintenance on the seats would be a great improvement.
First-class trip. Delighted.
I had a great experience with Giant Ibis from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap on one of their big buses. The bus left exactly on time, made two stops (a 30-minute lunch break and a 10-minute bathroom break), the driver was excellent, and the bus attendant was very friendly and kept us informed throughout the trip. This was one of my best bus experiences in Cambodia.
Always simple yet reliable and on time. Friendly staff.
Comfortable journey, water and snacks provided.

The ticket said Phnom Penh departure 12: 30 and Siem Reap arrival 18:30. When we got on the bus they told us the trip would take 6 hours (i.e. 18:30 arrival). Traffic on the road was pretty light and there were no breakdowns, but we didn't arrive at the Siem Reap terminal until after 19:15. I have found this on previous trips with another bus operator also. The bus operator should be more honest about when their bus will arrive rather than keep pretending it is only a 6-hour trip in total.
I have no idea if they checked the car before departure. The bus broke down along the way, wasted time like 1 hour, and traffic was crazy. It was supposed to be 6 hours; arrival time was 4, but I arrived at 7:30. Imagine this unprofessional operation.
I saw cockroaches under my pillow on the night bus. It should have been cleaned. The toilet on the bus is too small, and I had to squeeze in to get inside.
It stopped 2 times, allowing for washroom breaks and lunch. Friendly staff, but they were 30 minutes late to leave because some passengers were late to arrive.
Not freezing like our trip south. It was great to be comfortable from that perspective. The bus was in poor condition. My seat was broken and clearly had been for some time. Also, I could hear the wheel bearings (never a good thing to hear!) which sounded like they were on their last legs.
The staff were great.
I wish I could have had the upper bed. Other than that, everything was good and smooth.
I missed my flight because of the broken bus and traffic. When I asked staff for support, she did not care at all.
It was a comfortable journey, despite it taking 6 hours.
Good company, but the air conditioning is always set too high. I was cold, even with two thin blankets and a sweater. It's always like this and probably won't change. However, it's great value for money.

The sleeping space is so short and so cold, the driver didn't want to adjust the temperature.
Comfortable journey, friendly staff (both in the office and onboard), excellent driving, and a clean bus. We arrived slightly later than scheduled, but not by much, and these things happen. Overall, a pleasant journey and good value for money.
The bus was fine, but some seats require you to share with a stranger, separated only by a curtain. The woman next to me started talking to me and then took pictures of me without permission. I made her delete them, but later saw messages where she was talking about me because I mentioned I was traveling alone. It was very scary, and I didn’t feel safe after that. I would recommend trying to book a single seat if possible.
Very clean and smells excellent !
Stop many times and pick up people along the way. Travel for 8hrs. Very bad!!
The service was amazing, the bus was clean and comfy.
So good and highly recommended.
Overall, a good experience, though the A/C was a bit warm.
We were supposed to reach Siem Reap at 1:20, but we haven’t arrived yet—there’s been almost a 3-hour delay. We suffered a lot, especially with kids. A delay of 30 minutes to 1 hour is acceptable, but this is the worst experience we’ve ever had.
Waiting on the road for more than 3 hours because of the bus not functioning. So disappointed.
The trip was delayed, and there was a machine problem.
Smooth ride, professional staff, schedule on time, happy client.
This is a good service provider.
No AC, seats were not very comfortable, and there wasn't much legroom. However, the driver was very good, and the bus was punctual.
Il va être temps de changer les suspensions.
Pas de prise pour recharger le téléphone.
Point positif : parti à l'heure, arrivé en avance.
Chauffeur sympa.
It was my first time, and it was a great way to travel!
If it was not for the noise, it would deserve a five star.
I booked a sleeper bus to Siem Reap with an upper deck seat, but I was given a lower deck seat next to the toilet. It was very uncomfortable and completely different from what I booked.
I would recommend that the app not designate the back seats as 4-seaters and the front seats as 2-seaters, as this setup would not realistically fit.

The ride was very comfortable for resting on the way to the destination. However, the bed may be a bit uncomfortable for tall people over 160 cm.
The seat is a bit uncomfortable, but everything else is fine.
I booked a night hotel bus and suggest that the bus company add a one-time use/disposable bed sheet, cover, and pillow cover. Overall, it was a good experience. I had my own disposable sheet and cover.
They are not changing timeline for me with a reason
The driver drove very safely and calmly. The bus left on time. They offered each passenger a water bottle, wet wipes, and a small pack of rice crackers. The ride was smooth, and we arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
The driver was driving very fast and had a bad attitude.

Comfort is great, but it’s too small for foreigners; the taller you are, the more complex it becomes. Everything else was really great
The hospitality was excellent.
J'ai eu les places que j'avais réservées sur le site. Je me suis retrouvée en bas, près des toilettes, sous le moteur...

The bus was clean and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find curtains between the two joined single beds. The mattresses were really nice and comfy. Great bus—I'll definitely use it again!
Bus was new and clean but the seats are very uncomfortable and not enough space. I don’t recommend.
I got an old seat this time, and it had no safety belt.
The air conditioner was too cold.
The seats were not comfortable, and the restaurant where the minivan stopped was not clean. The service there was also very poor.
The bus had a strong smell, and we felt really carsick because of it.
I booked for the upper deck, but I actually got the lower deck.
The smell from the bathroom was noticeable. The rest was good, as always.
Not really cool, a bit hot. The air conditioner didn’t work well.

The driver drove very slowly.
Book lower deck but all seat is upper deck.
Th best bus service provider ever!
The bus was nice and comfortable. We had a good night’s sleep.
The driver didn’t stop at the restroom while we wanted to pee.
Drives very fast and brakes when close to other vehicles.
Unstable, which leads to difficulty in sleeping.
The journey was very good, and the staff at the bus stations in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh were very friendly. Best bus company in Cambodia.

I feel bad when they stop many times. I wish next time it will be better.
All good, but the thing is in the 15-seat van, they did put up a silent sign. Passengers didn't keep quiet; it was so loud, and the driver (staff) didn't ask them to keep quiet. I've been listening to them for the whole six hours.
My suitcase was loaded into the trunk of the bus, but the driver removed it to make space for his relatives’ bags. During a stopover, my suitcase was taken on and off the bus three times. When I asked the driver, he refused to put my suitcase back in the trunk, saying there was no more space. My small suitcase was loaded before his relatives’ huge bags. As a foreigner, I do not want unnecessary stress. Honestly, I am very disappointed with this driver and hope I never have to travel with him again. That’s all.
My partner was a bit squashed because he was taller than the bed. 🙈

Very good experience… clean and good service
The engine check light was on, the emergency rear door warning was activated, the rear compartment luggage door couldn’t be locked, and the bell was ringing periodically. The driver also drove off without warning or informing passengers that he needed to go to a tire shop, which left us confused and worried.
The bus stops at many places, which also delayed the arrival.
Kind and flexible to the needs of passengers.
The AC had problems the whole trip, and the bus also stopped for 30 minutes due to technical issues.
The bus was freezing cold.
The AC wasn’t very good, too warm in the van.
Air Conditioning wasn't cold, very hot. and the bus we were supposed to be on was broken so they put us in a smaller bus that was not as nice.
Everything was good. The bus was clean, and the staff was welcoming. The only issue was that the bus arrived 30 minutes later than the scheduled time.
The trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap was great. We had excellent service from the hostess who made the best coffee. Thank you again and anyone wanting a great ride in this bus operator please use this bus for your travels.
We even got croissants, coffee, and lunch on the bus. The staff was very friendly. The bus left and arrived on time. 👍
Normally, we get lunch during the trip, but this time we didn’t, and nobody informed us in advance so we could buy something to eat.
Seats are not comfortable
The vehicle was too cold, the air conditioning was too strong, and it really ruined the experience for me.
The best: comfortable reclining seats with padded, soft headrests, and modern touch screens for TV and internet at every seat. Snacks, drinks, and tea/coffee were included. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent drivers.
There is no WIFI and the tablet not working well.
I didn’t get the same seat as in the seat map when I booked. Staff asked me to change the seat, but I refused. The bus lost power about one hour after leaving Phnom Penh. We got off the bus and waited, but the staff told us to wait another two or three hours. I couldn’t wait because the weather was so hot, and we were hungry. So, we decided to go by another bus and pay our own money again.
A very comfortable ride from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap! Excellent service—almost like an Emirates flight.
The driving was too energetic, with a lot of honking, speeding, and emergency braking.
Explain location to catch the bus in more detail. Google maps not entirely accurate. Had to ask 3 times along the way of where the bus depot was.
After one stop in the middle, the driver drove so fast and slammed the brakes quickly multiple times. After reaching Siem Reap city, he drove even faster. This is the worst experience I have ever had.
Very nice and helpful staff. Everything at the highest level.
The communication when you get to the bus station is poor. We were told by three different staff members that our bus hadn’t arrived and that they would tell us when it had, so we waited by the market. We then got a call two minutes before our departure asking where we were. The bus that we boarded had been there since we arrived.
The bus itself was comfortable, and the staff on the bus was great! I would just make sure that you are very alert about which bus you are on and get in contact with someone who knows what is going on.
Great, attentive staff and a clean, modern bus
Incredible ride, well worth the 16 dollars. 5-star treatment!
Absolute luxury. Better than a plane.
The whole experience was great. From arriving at Phomh Penh bus station to Siem Reap everyone was so helpful and friendly. The best thing for me, which I hadn't expected was the thoughtful food and drink freeby's. Water, coffee, croissants, followed by chicken and fried rice lunch. Amazing. You should really promote this feature. Loved the whole morning.
I'd say this bus type is the most comfortable among all the buses out there. The seats even have massage functions. I would definitely recommend it.
The trip was two hours late, and the wrong seats were assigned, making everything feel very disorganized. While the journey itself was good, the late arrival at the collection point was frustrating, especially since no one seemed to know the reason for the delay.
It was freezing cold, even though we asked twice to stop or reduce the AC. The included fried rice was the driest and most basic we’ve ever had (but, to be fair, it was free). Other than that, the ride was very good and nearly on time. I would recommend it.
There was a lack of soft drinks (Coke, Fanta, soda, etc.) and a need for more varied food options.
On time, with a good lunch and nice staff. I'll definitely use this service again.
It was fantastic overall, but the bus was late, and I saw one of the staff members throw the used plastic bag tags into a puddle.
The bus departed and arrived punctually. They served one bag of snacks (a bun and fruit juice), a choice of hot coffee or tea, and one meal (you could choose between spaghetti, a burger, a sandwich, or fried rice). During the trip, the bus made one stop (around 30 minutes) for a toilet break. Although there is a toilet inside the bus, it is strictly for peeing. One downside, however, is that there was a slight pee smell at times, which I suspect came from the toilet. When I took the early morning bus previously, there was no smell at all. It’s likely that this afternoon bus wasn’t cleaned properly after the morning trip.
The best bus trip and company I have ever had in my entire life.
Excellent staff. So helpful.
The back seat was really narrow, and there wasn't much leg space. The passengers in front couldn’t recline their seats because if they did, there would be no space for us. When the bus departed, we requested to move to another empty seat, but they rejected our request.
The media screens could not be used because no earphones were provided, which was a shame since everything else was great.
Earphone should be provided in order to watch YouTube via tablet (bustap). The movie and music should be working offline, not using internet for better user experience.
We took a VET bus from Saigon to Phnom Penh with no major issues, except that the bus seats seem designed for men. The angle of the chair and the headrest push your neck forward if you’re not an average-height male, making it extremely uncomfortable to sit for multiple hours.
However, when we took the VET bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, we had an absolutely horrible experience the entire way. First, despite booking and paying six weeks in advance and receiving our tickets by email, they did not have us on the roster and had sold our seats to someone else. How does this even happen with a computerized system? They barely fixed the issue in time, and we almost missed the bus. No one at the Phnom Penh station seemed to know what they were doing. There were no announcements, and multiple employees stood around doing nothing—even when customers were waiting in line for help. It felt lazy and rude.
The bus ride itself was a nightmare. Don’t expect any rest on this bus. The driver repeatedly blasted the horn nonstop at every passing car and motorbike—literally every couple of minutes for six hours straight. And when it got dark, they kept the fluorescent lights on the entire time. VET, why would you do this on an evening bus where everyone is tired and wants to sleep? It makes absolutely no sense.
Please retrain your employees and drivers in Phnom Penh.
Overall, the service was excellent. The on-board personnel were very kind, and the drivers were experienced—one of them was absolutely top-notch. However, I noticed that two of the four drivers on the return trip drove extremely fast and aggressively, which made some passengers feel uncomfortable or even unsafe. Each time one of these two drivers reached 100 km/h (which happened often), I believe it triggered an alarm that was ignored.
While I appreciate efficient travel, safety should always come first. Could the company please remind drivers to prioritize smooth and safe driving? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Otherwise, I would certainly recommend your company!
Nothing to complain about. I will book with you again for sure.
It was a disappointing choice of roadside restaurant for a meal break. The kitchen was extremely slow and unable to handle the number of guests. While the bus staff were served, my order was completely forgotten, and I had to leave without eating. Additionally, the time allocated by the bus company for the meal stop was simply not sufficient.
We used this bus to Siem Reap with comfort, free WiFi, food and drinks, and entertainment. Worth it. Highly recommend the good staff and service.
The journey, we got the food offering.
Honking all the time. So annoying.
The aircon wasn't cold enough and it became unbearably hot during the last 2 hours of the trip. More attention could be paid to the cleanliness of the table and the bottle holder and given that it's the most expensive seat of their fleet, it would be more assuring if they sanities their seats after each ride.
All good apart from the constant honking.
Great trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Easy and inexpensive.
Entertainment screens were not working and the toilet is for urine only.
