Air Conditioning wasn't cold, very hot. and the bus we were supposed to be on was broken so they put us in a smaller bus that was not as nice.
The trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap was great. We had excellent service from the hostess who made the best coffee. Thank you again and anyone wanting a great ride in this bus operator please use this bus for your travels.
Normally, we get lunch during the trip, but this time we didn’t, and nobody informed us in advance so we could buy something to eat.
All good, Awkhun Ch’ran! 😊🙏🏼
The best: comfortable reclining seats with padded, soft headrests, and modern touch screens for TV and internet at every seat. Snacks, drinks, and tea/coffee were included. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent drivers.
Experienced drivers and smooth driving.
There is no WIFI and the tablet not working well.
A very comfortable ride from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap! Excellent service—almost like an Emirates flight.
The only downside was that the advertised wifi on the bus did not work. I could not watch movies on the infotainment system. The information was limited.
We are from Pakistan and were facing a language barrier. Our bus left even though we reached the terminal within 20 minutes, and he never refunded the tickets.
The staff was perfect! Really kind, always trying to help, and always smiling. I loved their behaviour!
Explain location to catch the bus in more detail. Google maps not entirely accurate. Had to ask 3 times along the way of where the bus depot was.
It was freezing inside, like a fridge! It was too cold, and people could get sick. Also, hot meals, like chicken, were not served this time.
After one stop in the middle, the driver drove so fast and slammed the brakes quickly multiple times. After reaching Siem Reap city, he drove even faster. This is the worst experience I have ever had.
Overall, I thought the excursion was pretty good. The drivers were good, the staff was good, and the guide was on time.
The coach was on time, super clean, and provided a safe ride. We had one stop at a nice place to break the journey. I would have preferred a seat that reclined, but it did have self-selectable air conditioning and heating and massage options. Together with private TV screens and Wi-Fi, what more could I need? My six hour journey went by in a flash. Amazing value.
The trip was two hours late, and the wrong seats were assigned, making everything feel very disorganized. While the journey itself was good, the late arrival at the collection point was frustrating, especially since no one seemed to know the reason for the delay.
There was a lack of soft drinks (Coke, Fanta, soda, etc.) and a need for more varied food options.
The driver drove into a car that was driving really erratically.
Was this supposed to be an express bus? We made at least five stops that were not just for drop-off or pick-up. They were lengthy, and as a result, our bus arrived quite late in Siem Reap.
The media screens could not be used because no earphones were provided, which was a shame since everything else was great.
Earphone should be provided in order to watch YouTube via tablet (bustap). The movie and music should be working offline, not using internet for better user experience.
We took a VET bus from Saigon to Phnom Penh with no major issues, except that the bus seats seem designed for men. The angle of the chair and the headrest push your neck forward if you’re not an average-height male, making it extremely uncomfortable to sit for multiple hours.
However, when we took the VET bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, we had an absolutely horrible experience the entire way. First, despite booking and paying six weeks in advance and receiving our tickets by email, they did not have us on the roster and had sold our seats to someone else. How does this even happen with a computerized system? They barely fixed the issue in time, and we almost missed the bus. No one at the Phnom Penh station seemed to know what they were doing. There were no announcements, and multiple employees stood around doing nothing—even when customers were waiting in line for help. It felt lazy and rude.
The bus ride itself was a nightmare. Don’t expect any rest on this bus. The driver repeatedly blasted the horn nonstop at every passing car and motorbike—literally every couple of minutes for six hours straight. And when it got dark, they kept the fluorescent lights on the entire time. VET, why would you do this on an evening bus where everyone is tired and wants to sleep? It makes absolutely no sense.
Please retrain your employees and drivers in Phnom Penh.
We used this bus to Siem Reap with comfort, free WiFi, food and drinks, and entertainment. Worth it. Highly recommend the good staff and service.
Everything was great except for the WiFi, which was very slow.
Overall, the service was excellent. The on-board personnel were very kind, and the drivers were experienced—one of them was absolutely top-notch. However, I noticed that two of the four drivers on the return trip drove extremely fast and aggressively, which made some passengers feel uncomfortable or even unsafe. Each time one of these two drivers reached 100 km/h (which happened often), I believe it triggered an alarm that was ignored.
While I appreciate efficient travel, safety should always come first. Could the company please remind drivers to prioritize smooth and safe driving? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Otherwise, I would certainly recommend your company!
It was a disappointing choice of roadside restaurant for a meal break. The kitchen was extremely slow and unable to handle the number of guests. While the bus staff were served, my order was completely forgotten, and I had to leave without eating. Additionally, the time allocated by the bus company for the meal stop was simply not sufficient.
The aircon wasn't cold enough and it became unbearably hot during the last 2 hours of the trip. More attention could be paid to the cleanliness of the table and the bottle holder and given that it's the most expensive seat of their fleet, it would be more assuring if they sanities their seats after each ride.
Great trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Easy and inexpensive.
Entertainment screens were not working and the toilet is for urine only.

Comfortable journey, friendly staff (both in the office and onboard), excellent driving, and a clean bus. We arrived slightly later than scheduled, but not by much, and these things happen. Overall, a pleasant journey and good value for money.
The bus was fine, but some seats require you to share with a stranger, separated only by a curtain. The woman next to me started talking to me and then took pictures of me without permission. I made her delete them, but later saw messages where she was talking about me because I mentioned I was traveling alone. It was very scary, and I didn’t feel safe after that. I would recommend trying to book a single seat if possible.
The vehicle and punctuality were fine, very clean, and everyone was very nice; however, a poorly functioning air conditioner for over six hours made the journey TERRIBLE.
Passengers did not respect their assigned seat numbers.
Very clean and smells excellent !
The driver is a nice man and I like the way he drives.
It was the best and safest trip.
Almost missed my bus because the staff at the pickup point were clueless regarding the bus I was supposed to take. As I got to the pickup point, I asked the ticket staff which bus I was supposed to take, and they told me to be seated as the bus was on the way and they would let me know. However, I was unsure because on the big screen there was only one bus leaving to Siem Reap at that time, and the bus number matched the plates on the bus that was boarding passengers. I showed the bus driver, who was clueless about how to read the ticket, and he directed me back to the ticket counter. I went again and asked someone else which bus I was supposed to take, and he told me the same thing—to be seated as the bus was not there yet. Just 5 minutes before departure, I asked the gentleman checking ticket numbers prior to boarding, and he confirmed that it was indeed the bus I was supposed to take. If I had listened to the counter staff, I would have definitely missed my bus, which would have ruined my trip. Hence the 4 stars, because the rest of the journey was amazing and as expected. Clean sleepers with a very clean WC.
The air conditioning was a bit strong and made me cold while sleeping, lol.
Stop many times and pick up people along the way. Travel for 8hrs. Very bad!!
The service was amazing, the bus was clean and comfy.
So good and highly recommended.
Overall, a good experience, though the A/C was a bit warm.
We were supposed to reach Siem Reap at 1:20, but we haven’t arrived yet—there’s been almost a 3-hour delay. We suffered a lot, especially with kids. A delay of 30 minutes to 1 hour is acceptable, but this is the worst experience we’ve ever had.
Waiting on the road for more than 3 hours because of the bus not functioning. So disappointed.
The trip was delayed, and there was a machine problem.
I didn’t realize it was a van when I booked thought it was bus seating. I’m a big guy and it was a tight ride for 6.5 hours.
This is a good service provider.
Il va être temps de changer les suspensions.
Pas de prise pour recharger le téléphone.
Point positif : parti à l'heure, arrivé en avance.
Chauffeur sympa.
It was my first time, and it was a great way to travel!
I booked a sleeper bus to Siem Reap with an upper deck seat, but I was given a lower deck seat next to the toilet. It was very uncomfortable and completely different from what I booked.
I would recommend that the app not designate the back seats as 4-seaters and the front seats as 2-seaters, as this setup would not realistically fit.
It was a comfortable and pleasant journey. I was able to sleep peacefully, and we arrived earlier than expected. The bus was clean, and the ride was smooth.

The ride was very comfortable for resting on the way to the destination. However, the bed may be a bit uncomfortable for tall people over 160 cm.
The seat is a bit uncomfortable, but everything else is fine.
The driver drove very safely and calmly. The bus left on time. They offered each passenger a water bottle, wet wipes, and a small pack of rice crackers. The ride was smooth, and we arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
The driver was driving very fast and had a bad attitude.

The hospitality was excellent.
J'ai eu les places que j'avais réservées sur le site. Je me suis retrouvée en bas, près des toilettes, sous le moteur...

The bus was clean and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find curtains between the two joined single beds. The mattresses were really nice and comfy. Great bus—I'll definitely use it again!
I got an old seat this time, and it had no safety belt.
I have been using other bus companies for over 7 years here, and this company is by far the best. I won’t mention the other companies’ names because I don’t want to tarnish their reputation.
We got stuck in traffic, and when I called the operator, she told me not to worry and said the bus would wait for us for 10 minutes. They did wait for us without any problem. The trip was wonderful—everything was clean and well organized. There was also a stop to have a meal and use the restroom.
The staff spoke English, and overall the journey was excellent. It was a sleeper bus, and there were blankets in individual bags as well as clean pillows.
The seats were not comfortable, and the restaurant where the minivan stopped was not clean. The service there was also very poor.
I booked for the upper deck, but I actually got the lower deck.
The smell from the bathroom was noticeable. The rest was good, as always.

This was my first ride on a sleeper bus.I was able to sleep for 2 hours. The bus was very clean, and the driver followed traffic rules.
The driver drove very slowly.
Book lower deck but all seat is upper deck.
Th best bus service provider ever!
The bus was nice and comfortable. We had a good night’s sleep.
The driver didn’t stop at the restroom while we wanted to pee.
Drives very fast and brakes when close to other vehicles.
Left 16 minutes late, arrived 35 minutes late after six stops—only two were planned. I requested an increase in the air conditioning, but the driver rudely said, “I am the driver and will do it my way.” Cambodian passengers in the back seat area were hot and became carsick due to the driver swerving in and out of the street lanes. This was my second bad experience between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
Unstable, which leads to difficulty in sleeping.

I feel bad when they stop many times. I wish next time it will be better.
The driver was very professional and got us there on time.
All good, but the thing is in the 15-seat van, they did put up a silent sign. Passengers didn't keep quiet; it was so loud, and the driver (staff) didn't ask them to keep quiet. I've been listening to them for the whole six hours.
My suitcase was loaded into the trunk of the bus, but the driver removed it to make space for his relatives’ bags. During a stopover, my suitcase was taken on and off the bus three times. When I asked the driver, he refused to put my suitcase back in the trunk, saying there was no more space. My small suitcase was loaded before his relatives’ huge bags. As a foreigner, I do not want unnecessary stress. Honestly, I am very disappointed with this driver and hope I never have to travel with him again. That’s all.
My partner was a bit squashed because he was taller than the bed. 🙈
The bus stops at many places, which also delayed the arrival.
Kind and flexible to the needs of passengers.
The AC had problems the whole trip, and the bus also stopped for 30 minutes due to technical issues.
A very comfortable way to travel from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Highly recommend.😊
The AC wasn’t very good, too warm in the van.
The bus is great, and the staff are warm and friendly. However, please consider changing the rest stops, as the food was expensive and tasted bad.
We left on time and arrived early. It was a perfect trip — 5 stars.
The announcements were far too long—over 7 minutes before departure. They were almost impossible to understand for non-native English speakers.
Safe trip, but several seats dropped straight back without control, which seemed to be a common issue. One passenger had to be reseated. The man in front of me reclined so close that he was an inch from my face, though he eventually raised his seat after my knees bumped it a few times. Otherwise, it was a pleasant, fast trip with excellent drivers and cheerful staff. A little maintenance on the seats would be a great improvement.
Why does the bus let males and females allowed to sleep together?
I had a great experience with Giant Ibis from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap on one of their big buses. The bus left exactly on time, made two stops (a 30-minute lunch break and a 10-minute bathroom break), the driver was excellent, and the bus attendant was very friendly and kept us informed throughout the trip. This was one of my best bus experiences in Cambodia.
The seats are very small for a 7-hour journey. The Wi-Fi is okay for sending text messages but cannot stream satellite radio. Next time I will save the money and take May Hong instead, which has much better seats.
Always simple yet reliable and on time. Friendly staff.
The bus was 45 minutes late. I had to cancel my plans. Very bad company, they did not even apologize and stopped about four times on the way.
The ticket said Phnom Penh departure 12: 30 and Siem Reap arrival 18:30. When we got on the bus they told us the trip would take 6 hours (i.e. 18:30 arrival). Traffic on the road was pretty light and there were no breakdowns, but we didn't arrive at the Siem Reap terminal until after 19:15. I have found this on previous trips with another bus operator also. The bus operator should be more honest about when their bus will arrive rather than keep pretending it is only a 6-hour trip in total.
The bus was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and really nice, but the only issue was the AC leaking. Even when it was turned off, air was still leaking through small gaps in the wall. H-1 Sleepy Bus SR–PP. It was really cold, and I had to use two blankets.
I have no idea if they checked the car before departure. The bus broke down along the way, wasted time like 1 hour, and traffic was crazy. It was supposed to be 6 hours; arrival time was 4, but I arrived at 7:30. Imagine this unprofessional operation.
I saw cockroaches under my pillow on the night bus. It should have been cleaned. The toilet on the bus is too small, and I had to squeeze in to get inside.
Not freezing like our trip south. It was great to be comfortable from that perspective. The bus was in poor condition. My seat was broken and clearly had been for some time. Also, I could hear the wheel bearings (never a good thing to hear!) which sounded like they were on their last legs.
The staff were great.
This was my third trip with Giant Ibis, and the trips have consistently been good. Thanks!
I missed my flight because of the broken bus and traffic. When I asked staff for support, she did not care at all.
All was professional, reliable and great :)
