Kampong Cham to Siem Reap Bus

He was using two phones while driving and picking his nose the whole way. We made it safely, but I was afraid for my safety the whole time.

I do not want to get anyone in trouble. I was not going to mention my issues, but you asked me directly for feedback, so I will give you an honest answer. We set off from Kampong Cham. My wife and I were on the rear seats. The bus was over thirty minutes late arriving and it is easy to see why the bus was late arriving when you read my comments below. We set off and stopped not long after leaving the Kampong Cham base. This was a surprise but soon I understood why this was. The driver picked up a ;large heavy package at this first stop. The reason that I know this is that when we set off again, I could not push my seat backwards to lie down. When I looked the driver has wedged this large heavy box against the back of my seat I tried to move it but it was too heavy so I had to sit upright for the whole journey. Then we stopped for the second time. The driver collected his free food and drinks and signed the paper at the checkout. Then we stooped for a third time! The driver told us that we would leave in twenty minutes. His food was brought immediately. He had a lot of food and drinks. We looked at the menu and ordered our food. It took a while to arrive. We saw the driver collect a bottle of water and a tin of coca cola. he returned to the bus and blasted on the horn to tell us that he was leaving! We could not finish our food as we did not have time. It is easy for the driver because his food is ready straight away. This is why there were a lot of drivers there. They were laughing and enjoying all of the free food. Then we stopped a fourth time. I was getting really angry! I followed the driver. He got some cakes and some drinks. He cannot be hungry but it is all free. He saw me watching him and spoke. I ignored him because I was angry. He carried on asking me, "Sir, are you ok? Do you want something?". I think that he knew that I could see through him, and his angle to get as much free food as he could rather than worry about the passengers getting to their destination. I eventually said that I just want to get to Siem Reap! He stopped one more time. He stopped opposite the ONE GRAND GYM. He had a Tuk Tuk driver waiting in the bushes. He quickly opened the rear doors and gave the heavy box to the Tuk Tuk driver. It appeared by his actions that he was doing something that he should not have been doing! We arrived at Siem Reap shortly after the box exchange. Clearly the driver did not want the staff at Virak Buntham in Kampong Cham to know about "the heavy box", and clearly he did not want the staff in Virak Buntham in Siem Reap, to know that he had delivered this box. We were one hour later than the scheduled time! I was very disappointed. To contrast this, I travelled from Kep to Kampong Cham the previous day (20 March 2026) and the girl on that journey was fantastic!
